Don't Take Our Word For It

Wedding DJs Who Actually Fill a Dance Floor

Wedding DJ hire is about one thing above all else. Getting every single guest on that dance floor. At Twisted Entertainment, we have performed at hundreds of weddings and know exactly how to read a room, build energy, and create a night your guests will not stop talking about.

We supply everything from professional wedding DJs who know how to work a reception through to celebrity DJs for couples who want their wedding to be truly unforgettable. Every DJ on our roster is handpicked, experienced in live events, and knows how to handle the unique demands of a wedding day.

What Makes Our Wedding DJs Different

They read the room. A great wedding DJ does not just play a playlist. They watch the crowd, adjust the tempo, and know when to drop the track that gets everyone up. Our DJs are trained performers, not button-pushers.

They understand wedding logistics. First dances, speeches, cake cutting, bouquet tosses. Our DJs work seamlessly with your wedding coordinator and venue team to keep everything running on time.

They are flexible on genre. From Motown and soul to garage and house to chart pop and indie. Our DJs cover the full spectrum because wedding guests span every age and taste.

They bring the right energy. Background music during the wedding breakfast. Building energy for the first dance. Full dance floor mode for the evening party. Three distinct phases, one DJ who nails

    Celebrity DJs for Weddings

More couples are booking celebrity DJs for their wedding receptions than ever before. A famous DJ adds a layer of excitement and exclusivity that turns a wedding reception into an event that feels like a private festival.

Our team can source and book celebrity DJs for wedding receptions, after-parties, and even pre-wedding events like rehearsal dinners and welcome parties. Browse our celebrity DJ roster or tell us who you have in mind and we will check availability.

    Wedding DJ Add-Ons

DJ and Sax duo. A saxophonist playing live over DJ sets is one of the most popular wedding entertainment upgrades. It adds a live music element without the complexity of a full band.

DJ and percussion. Live bongos or electronic drums layered over DJ tracks create infectious energy that gets even reluctant dancers moving.

Ceremony and drinks reception music. We supply acoustic musicians and string quartets for the ceremony and drinks reception, with a seamless transition to the DJ for the evening party. One booking, complete coverage.

      Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a wedding DJ cost in the UK?

Professional wedding DJs typically range from £400 to £1,500 depending on experience, set length, and location. Celebrity DJ bookings for weddings start from around £3,000 and can go significantly higher for big names. We have options for every budget and will always be upfront about pricing.

Can the DJ play specific songs we request?

Yes. Every couple gets to submit a must-play list and a do-not-play list before the wedding. Your DJ will build their set around your preferences while using their experience to keep the energy right throughout the night.

Do your DJs provide their own equipment?

Most of our DJs bring their own professional DJ equipment. For larger weddings or outdoor venues, additional PA and lighting may be needed. We will advise on the best setup for your specific venue and guest count.

Can we have a DJ and a live band at our wedding?

Absolutely. This is one of our most popular packages. A live band performs the first set of the evening party, then the DJ takes over for the late-night session. We coordinate the changeover so there is no dead time. We can also pair a DJ with live musicians such as a saxophonist or percussionist for a hybrid set.

How far in advance should I book a wedding DJ?

For professional wedding DJs, 3 to 6 months is standard. For celebrity DJs, 6 to 12 months is recommended, especially for peak wedding season dates between May and September. Saturday dates book up fastest.
